Konkan Serene located at Kelshi, a typical village of the Konkan, nestled against a backdrop of a thick forest full of mango, coconut and betel nut trees and a splendid sea offering a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

The beach at Kelshi stretches for 3 kms and the sunsets here are so beautiful that they have to be experienced to be believed. Take a walk through the forest or on this beautiful and unexplored beach during both day and night and you will be rejuvenated in both body and mind. On the sea shore, there are twelve acres of land with Cypress trees planted in a systematic way which adds to the beauty of this place.
With a population of just around 3000 people, the village is quite, calm and peaceful with only the sound of the sea waves which is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the life in the cities.
Other than the scenery and the beaches, Kelshi has a very significant cultural and historical background too. Built by the Peshwas, the Swayambhu Mahalaksmi Mandir which is one of the most well-known spots in Kelshi. Then there is the naturally formed Sand Dune located at the south of the village on the banks of the river Bharja and this sand deposit has been accurately dated to 1524. Frequented by some of the greatest leaders of the Maratha Empire like Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji Maharaj and Peshwa Bajirao, is the 386 year old Yaqub Baba Durgah.
